





This is how it started out on the inside...really musty-smelling and the color was horrid! So we ripped that all out and relined it with some ship fabric I had laying around waiting for a use.
Next up was painting a layer of primer on the outside. Then painting (acrylic craft paint) 2 layers of black on top of that...once it was dry, we mod-podged a Jolly Rodgers look on one side and a hand-drawn (okay kinda cheesey, but it turned out okay) treasure map on the other.
The final version of the front/back is at the top! For some reason I can't get this to post the pictures in the proper order or place on the page...still working on how to do that. But you get the idea :D
