Finished up another long stocking hat last night and used about 1 1/2 skeins of yarn with shades of green. The swirly/circle designs that came out in it were pretty nifty considering I didn't choose for it to do that. :D
The owls from a post several weeks ago- well, they turned into barrettes this morning! I traced around the outside edge and cut out felt to sew onto the backsides. Then attached a couple of alligator clips to them and voila! A cute barrette! :) I had been thinking over what to do with them and decided they were too small for what I wanted, but perfect for these.
Off to another project! :)
